About the demographics questionnaire
The questions in the demographics questionnaire were developed based on national standard questions and modifications that were tested with a citizen involvement panel.
Use the standard impact measures and standard demographic questions, to help you understand if different interventions are more effective for different groups.
You should not change the questions in the questionnaires, but you can ask them in different ways depending on the:
- intervention
- setting
- target group
The demographics included are protected characteristics under The Equality Act.
- age
- disability
- ethnicity and race
- faith and religion
- gender
- marriage and civil partnerships
- pregnancy
- sexual orientation
We have also included postcode, index of multiple deprivation (IMD), and ward as a demographic.
