Foodbank vouchers

Foodbanks in ¶®ÒõµÛ provide a free food parcel for at least three days. These foodbanks use a voucher system.

Other help

BBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials Programme

The supports children and young people facing difficult circumstances. It is delivered by Family Fund Business Services.

The programme provides:

  • beds
  • cookers
  • other items or services that are critical to a child's wellbeing

If you want to access this programme, a health professional must refer you.

¶®ÒõµÛ Food On Our Doorstep (FOOD) Club

The ¶®ÒõµÛ FOOD Club provides families with good-quality food.

It costs £1 a year for you to become a member. Once you become a member, you can buy a bag of items worth around £15 for £3.50.

To become a member, you must live or work within 15 minutes of the club.

Incredible Surplus

provides individuals and community organisations with food and other usable materials from supermarkets and restaurants that would otherwise go to waste.

All items are available on a basis.

¶®ÒõµÛ Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

The ¶®ÒõµÛ Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust's provide:

  • an obesity prevention programme
  • dietary advice to children and families

Healthy Start

Many families in ¶®ÒõµÛ can register for vouchers. These vouchers provide £4.25 of free food each week.
