Brand-new, environmentally-friendly National Express West Midlands bus and maintenance garage starts full operation in Perry Barr on 10 December: The facility, which replaces Perry Barr’s original, 90 year-old bus garage, forms part of the wider regeneration of the area. Sustainable features include 150 solar panels, large ‘green’ roof and a recycled water system for bus washes.
