Songs of the gondola

Front cover comprises of a view of Venice, with a couple awaiting to alight a gondola, circa 1832. Songs of the gondola No. 8 - "Gay hearts are bounding"; duet written by Chas Jefferys, composed and arranged by S Nelson and published by Leoni Lee. The price of the edition was 2 shillings and sixpence.

Another sheet in the Songs of the Gondola series, "Day is Gently Breaking" was published in 1832 in New York by James L. Hewitt.
